Phonics stories: Little Hot Pot

I realize an increasing  interest in the last phonics story created "Little Boy Blue" and have created another cute short Phonics readable.

This is a short little readable, slightly rhyming using very simple words with some repetition.

I have highlighted some of the Vowel Digraphs in Red and Consonant Blends in Blue .

Little Hot Pot

Little pot, little pot , sat on the counter top.
Waiting for mummy to give it a wash.
Mummy took little pot to the tap,
she wash and wash the little pot.
She filled little pot with water full,
then put little pot back on the counter top.
Little pot, little pot, how are you now?
"I am feeling full and very hot too."
Just wait a minute or two to sing,
little pot started boiling hot,
"Toot Toot Weeeeeee" goes happy little hot pot.
