Parenting : Smoothie recipe for mummy.

In the recent months, I started adding fruit smoothie as weekly supplement to my diet and noticed  rather significant health improvements. 

The idea sparked from chancing upon so many MLM health supplements boasting of age reversal and weight management . As well as some health benefit smoothies recipes circulating around social medias, claiming high anti-oxidant and many other health benefits. Lastly, I came across a television program by Dr. OZ introducing the various benefits of beet root, especially it's benefit of reducing blood pressure. With some researches done reading on the key food options that are high in anti oxidant and health boosting benefits, I have put together the enclosed smoothie recipe (Purely for personal health and taste consumption).

Per glass servings size:

 
- 3-4 frozen Strawberries (You may add more for taste preference)
- 10-15 frozen Blueberries
- 1/4 beetroot (You may add or reduce by personal preference) 
-  Flavoured milk of your choice (I usually add strawberry milk)
- a pinch of tumeric powder
- 3 tablespoon of rolled oats
- a pinch of Chia seeds

Blend the list  above together and you get a healthy smoothie with high fiber, anti oxidant and blood pressure reducing healthy drink. 

As beetroot is highly effective in reducing blood pressure, together with addition of power berries such as strawberries and blueberries, this smoothie is high antioxidant and stamina boosting. With added chia seeds and oats, this is definitely a heart healthy and fiber boosting drink and health supplement. 

After about two months intake of this smoothie supplement (3-4) dosage weekly, my blood pressure medication has been reduced having shown improvements in my readings during doctor followups.
