Phonics stories: Little Boy Blue

Little Boy Blue is my first attempt at a short phonics story.





The texted at highlighted in red denotes vowel blends/Dipthongs, while texted highlighted in blue denotes consonant blends. You are most welcomed to download and guide your little ones to attempt the phonics in highlights.
  

Little boy blue:

Little boy blue, sat on a stool, alone in the garden
He looked up in the clear blue sky
"What fluffy clouds up high in the sky" He thought
"I wish I could fly like the birds, and play on the clouds all day" said little boy blue.
Then he slept on the green grass and started to dream.
What dreams? Dreams that he grew wings and is flying high up in the sky.
Sweet dreams little boy blue.
