Weekend breakfast is always a great time where the entire family drives around hunting for value for money foodies to satisfy our stomach as well as spending quality time together.
Ever so frequent, we find ourselves revisiting Shi Wei Xian Hong Kong Dim Sum which is located at a coffee shop at #01-06, 119 Aljunied Cresent Avenue, S(380119). This stall only operates on weekends, offering more than 20 selections of dim sum and rice dishes options at very affordable rates not at the expanse of quality.
Though the stall is operating in a coffee shop, one can be assured that the selections and quality are comparable to the standard dim sum restaurant, and is definitely a value for money option to delight your dim sum cravings.
We usually order the standard chicken claws, black bean steamed ribs, salad prawn dumplings .
The kids' favorite list is non other than the lotus leave rice, pan fried carrot cakes and the pork rib steamed rice.
Most of the items are priced less than S$2 per dish, lately we even opted for chicken claw steam rice, and black bean pork rib steam rice instead of just the dish items, as these comes with a generous servings of rice together with the dish items and is more filling.
After a hearty meal, we will usually spend another 1-2 hours shopping around the neighborhood to stock up our errand list, as there are also some great fruit stalls and a Giant Supermarket within the vicinity.
