Family friendly outing: Outdoor fun at Pasir Ris Park Playground

There are many funfilled carefully constructed playground within Singapore. NPark has done a terrific job planning for the needs for the neighborhood community, especially for families.

One of the best and well planned playground is the Pasir Ris playground, the location map and directions to the playground is provided at the link as enclosed.

This park stretches over a large area with different play structures ideal for toddlers to young adults.

There are many rock and rope climb structures, best built to train the little one's motor skills.

One of the childrens' favorite is the rock climbing hill slide where little kids can rock climb up or run up the hill gradient and slide down repeatedly.

There are also several rope climbing structures where kiddos enjoy stretching and ascending the structure and be rewarded descending a giant slide.

Toddlers can also be kept busy with other smaller play structures such as the musical corner and the traditional swings and smaller slides.




There are also two flying foxes and many kids enjoy queuing up to take turn flying across the sandy patches.

Other than the play structure,  probably the less discovered fun is that the grass patches just within the playground is home to a community of grasshoppers.  Eventually,  my three kiddos and daddy decided to take a break from the climbs and hot sun and started grasshopper hunting instead.

This playground is well facilitated with wash area and washrooms, as well as dinning  outlets.
