Through the eyes of Joel - Summer in Singapore

We were walking to the supermarket just after a filling breakfast one bright morning. While cutting through a carpark just behind a coffeeshop, Joel pointed out excitedly :"Mummy! Look!" I casually followed the direction his little scrawny fingers were pointing, and was greeted by a beautiful sight of a tree! Crowned with yellow flowers with not a tinge of dark green leaves, beaming down on us glowing in the morning sunlight. It was standing right in the middle of a busy old carpark, admist all the other old green trees!

It is indeed beautiful!

I believe, if we slow down our paces just a little everyday, one may start to find bits and bites of beauty and art that GOD has created even in the city.

Sadly, almost everyone are head straight, on milliseconds marching pace, scurrying from point A to B everyday. How many are able to just slow down a minute to appreciate little details like a kid? And even for children today, how many are able to lift their eyes off computer games, ipads and phones to appreciate some of this art that nature has painted for us?

Anyhow, let's just stop for a moment and appreciate this picture of art that nature has given us. Unwind....
